At 4” in length, the Atmos Junior is one of the smallest, solid concentrate vaporizers available. Despite its small form factor, the Atmos Junior produces large clouds of vapor at the press of a button. The RX Junior features a coil skillet style heating element and a ceramic chamber to produce clean vapors in just seconds.

How it Works

After fully charging the Atmos Junior’s Lithium-ion battery, you can begin loading your solid concentrates. Remove the chamber from the battery and fill loosely to ensure proper airflow. Press power button firmly while drawing.

Maintenance

For best functionality, be sure to clean and maintain the Atmos Junior regularly. Disconnect battery before cleaning. To clean Heating Chamber, use brush gently around chamber walls. Avoid contact with heating element. When cleaning filter, remove and clear airways. For the rubber mouthpiece, simply wipe with a moist paper towel. When the battery is depleted, charge fully before using again to maximize battery life.

When using with aromatic blends, we HIGHLY suggest using a glass screen so that your blend does not make contact with the heating coil, which can cause overheating. Using an RX Junior with aromatic blends and no glass screen is not recommended.

How do I use the RX Junior?

We definitely recommend reading the full instructions located on the ‘User Guide’ tab, but here is a quick rundown on RX Junior Usage:

Charge the RX Junior - This could take a few hours the first time, but subsequent charges should not take longer than 46-60 minutes.

Load the RX Junior - This is easily done by removing the mouthpiece, and using the included tool to apply your solid concentrates on top of the atomizer coil, or insert a glass screen and load your aromatic blends on top. Do not load too much, more than a sessions worth is definitely too much. Replace mouthpiece.

Power up and Draw - If the switch on the RX Junior is locked, unlock by pressing the button five times. This enables the power switch and the RX Junior is ready to use. Press the button and immediately begin drawing from the RX Junior. Draw until you have had your fill, or the ten-second shut off turns the atomizer off.

When using solid concentrates that melt cleanly, many owners find that taking one more draw through a cooling RX Junior (meaning no power is applied while drawing) helps keep the air vents from clogging.

How long does it take for the RX Junior to pre-heat?

1 Second.

What determines vapor quality in the RX Junior?

When using solid concentrates, its vital that you only use that which melts cleanly and leaves no particulate behind. This particulate can overheat when in contact with the atomizer coil, shortening it lifespan.

When using aromatic blends, ensure you have the glass screen in place. Varying your draw rate slightly will allow you to adjust the density of the vapor output, slower draws will create thicker vapors, and quicker draws will create slightly thinner vapors.

The air intake on the RX Junior is controlled, so there is only a small amount of adjustment you can make to your draw rate.

Is the RX Junior compatible with liquids, solid concentrates and aromatic blends?

The RX Junior was designed mainly for aromatic blends and solid concentrates. Avoid using liquids that do not solidify at room temperatures.

Will the RX Junior work on 240v power?

Yes. The AC adapter for the USB charging cable is rated from 100v to 240v, however you may need an outlet adapter for locations outside of North America.

USB Charging is also available.

My vapors seem thin. What can I do to change that?

When using solid concentrates its vital that you only use that which melts cleanly and leaves no particulate behind. This particulate can turn into carbon when in contact with the atomizer coil, shortening its lifespan.

When using aromatic blends, ensure you have the glass screen in place. Different grind levels will yield different vapor qualities.

Varying your draw rate slightly will allow you to adjust the density of the vapor output, slower draws will create thicker vapors, and quicker draws will create slightly thinner vapors.

The air intake on the RX Junior is controlled, so there is only a small amount of adjustment you can make to your draw rate.

What is the RX Junior made from?

The atomizer coil is NiChrome, the crucible is ceramic, and the mouthpiece is silicone.

What is the heating element made from?

Nichrome. Nichrome is a non-magnetic alloy of nickel, chromium, and often iron, usually used as a resistance wire in applications from atomizer coils to toasters and beyond.

Will RX Junior over-heat my blends?

Overheating is definitely possible. With aromatic blends, its vital that you use a glass screen. This keeps your aromatic blends from making direct contact with the coil, which can lead to overheating. Using an RX Junior with aromatic blends and without a glass screen is not recommended.

How full should the heating chamber be?

With solid concentrates, we don’t recommend loading more than one sessions worth.

With aromatic blends, you can load as much as you can fit in the chamber, as long as you don’t load it too tightly.

How often should I stir the blend in the heating chamber?

Inspect your blends as you use the RX Junior, the color will dictate the need for stirring.

If, after the first few times you stir your blends, you find that the blend seems to be browning evenly, you are loading it properly, and may not need to stir.

If you are finding that your blend is browning unevenly, trying loading it *slightly* more loosely.

Is there an auto-shutoff on the RX Junior?

As a general safety rule, do not leave the RX Junior unattended while powered on.

How do I replace the atomizer on the RX Junior?

The atomizer coil is not rebuildable, so when it eventually expires, replace with a new one.

Atomizers will last 4-5 weeks with normal use, your experience may vary.

What size Screens does the RX Junior use?

There are no screens in the RX Junior.

What type battery does the RX Junior use?

Li-Ion, 390mAh with 510/ eGo threading.

What charging options do I have with the RX Junior?

The AC adapter for the USB charging cable is rated from 100v to 240v, however you may need an outlet adapter for locations outside of North America.

USB Charging is also available.

How should I care for my RX Junior?

Always allow the RX Junior to cool COMPLETELY before cleaning, 30 minutes should be sufficient.

Use the included tool to clean inside the crucible, but be EXTREMELY careful not to make contact with the atomizer coil, it can be damaged very easily.

Any solid concentrate that has collected on the outside of the RX Junior can be cleaned with a warm, damp washcloth.

The mouthpiece and top section of the body that unscrews will incur the most buildup, especially with the use of solid concentrates. This can be cleaned by soaking in isopropyl alcohol.

Always make sure your vaporizer is COMPLETELY dry before plugging it back in to charge.

Do not attempt any internal or external repairs to your unit as doing so may cause fatal injury – or worse – void your warranty! (Please contact us if you feel something is wrong with your vaporizer.)

How often should I clean my RX Junior?

Inspect your RX Junior each time you use it. Make sure the coil is working perfectly, and that no debris or buildup is clogging the holes. Check the inside of the mouthpiece often, it will get dirty the fastest.

Atomizers will last 4-5 weeks with normal use. Replace as needed.

Is it okay to use isopropyl alcohol on my RX Junior?

Only on the mouthpiece, and the top metal section that unscrews. Do not use liquids to clean the atomizer coil.

What parts of the RX Junior will I need to clean the most?

The mouthpiece, and the top metal section that unscrews. Check these often.

What is replaceable on my RX Junior?

The atomizer is replaceable. Atomizers will last 4-5 weeks with normal use, however your experience will vary.

What kind of cleaning tools work best with the RX Junior?

Only use the tool included with the RX Junior.
